It is the ECONOMY, eve is unique in that almost all items are player generated through mining, PI, moon mining, salvaging and invention. In addition these items can be traded along with other player collected goods in the loyalty points store with player gathered points for "fancier" versions. The CURRENT ITEMS are NOT the problem, they planned battleships, ammo an faction standing are the problem. The leaked pdf however indicated a sidestep around this previous system. Sure we have plex we can sell it for isk, but we ONLY buy player gathered goods. The construction of a whole new store using AUR that didn't even have the capability to TRADE in items like the LP store was so amazingly insulting to me personally, that I wanted to quit and say nothing on the forums. It showed an amazing oversight at best, and a desire to screw over the industrialists at worst. In addition, I think the following ideas should be considered, FIX: when you dock, you ship spin by default, then above undock you have leave ship option. Allow ship swapping without leaving your pod. Some are mad about AUR for Battleships, ammo and mods: FIX: make it like the LP store, they have to purchase from players, then trade in to get new item. Some are mad about high vanity item cost: FIX: Set up contract auctions for say 100 of each item, then base the vanity store items off this. There could be buy it now prices and auction prices. Allow them to dynamically fluctuate. It would also do a lot to address Zinfindel's comments that players want to spend more on their hobbies. That was again, very insulting, do you guys know how many of us have 2,3, 5 accounts? what are we doing? we're ALREADY spending more on our hobby. I think that in the wake of the $99 licensing fee, the Greed is Good pdf pushed up off the proverbial cliff.
